Following feedback on the release candidates released last week, Cusix Software and SmartFactory has flushed out a few bugs and released final versions 1.0 of SmartBlocks and SmartProfile.

The XOOPS 2.2 extended profiles were too good to give up, so Cusix Software decided to make a similar module for XOOPS 2.0.16.

Since I did not want to cut into the core, all functionality is enclosed in the module, which has now been handed over to SmartFactory for further development.

I'll let you in on a little secret: I have never been a fan of the XOOPS 2.0.x blocks system.

The blocks themselves are ok, but why do I only get one of each that can be either visible or not?

With XOOPS 2.2 I changed that, but since that branch is no longer carried on, I decided that we needed similar functionality for XOOPS 2.0.x until XOOPS 2.4 hopefully makes it obsolete to think about these workarounds.

So here it is:
SmartBlocks, developed by Cusix Software based on the Flexblocks module from Fyens Stifstidende and - as the name implies - now handed over to the SmartFactory for further development.

Cusix Software has just released Cordemanon - a module for managing and downloading whitepapers - in an updated version 1.01.

The module is fairly simple with categories, customers and whitepapers, but the registration of downloads is more extensive than most download modules, the grouping of downloads by customers allows customers to manage their own whitepapers and files can be placed outside the web root to disallow direct linking.

Cordemanon was developed for Version2, a new Danish IT media, and modified slightly for public usage.

Version 1.01 has just a few changes:
1) Minor fixes in file path processing
2) Extended information about writeability of file path

I have worked on updating the Team module to work with both XOOPS 2.0.x and XOOPS 2.2.x and in the process, I have refactored large parts of the module.

It is now available as a final version in the Downloads Section many bugs have been found in both earlier versions and v3.0 betas and RCs that should now be flushed out.

It is also now including a team selection form on the tactics page for easy team switching and a few extra bugfixes regarding screenshot deletion and player profiles.
